Harold Rhéaume interviews Nicholas Bellefleur dancer in the 2021 version of Les Dix Commandements and Eric Bernier, dancer of the 1998 version.
Each revisiting their roles, the artists discuss the particularities of dance and theatre and today’s clear interdisciplinarity; they also talk about the quest for meaning – both among artists and audiences – which is manifested differently depending on the discipline. The artists also address moments of grace in performing, experienced through the search for freedom and authenticity.
