Sismography Recording the injuries, grief, and perils of dance

2021 - 2023 (ongoing)
Co-production

Sismography is a collaborative platform that is a home to the stories of dancers. It is a sensitive archive of the subtle tremors and deep shudders that have marked their practice and that often remain taboo: physical and psychological injuries, illness, conditions, and disabilities that can impede, prevent, transform, and divert dance. It also documents the grief that haunts or liberates it.

We invite you to share your experience in this open and supportive space. No matter what your dance style or how long you’ve been a professional dancer, your story counts. Here, the sincerity of the intimate experience prevails. To respect this commitment, you may sign your story or choose to remain anonymous.

Sismography is a production of Espace Perreault Choreographic Transmissions. The podcast section is produced in partnership with Danse K par K.
