Interview with Navala Chaudhari about his career and approach to teaching contemporary dance in an international context.

Originally from London, trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, this dedicated artist continues to explore different forms of dance and martial arts. Her encounter with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui in 2008 – when he asked her to replace an injured dancer – would change the course of her life. As a dancer and teacher, being in touch with her inner smile, her inner essence, and her own uniqueness is what she finds most important. How does she foster in students an awareness, openness, and their own form of expression? An interview in the En aparté series produced by Circuit-Est.
