Interview with Luke Jessop about his career and approach to teaching contemporary dance in an international context.
From the En aparté series produced by Circuit-Est, English dancer Luke Jessop, who currently lives in Brussels, talks about his teaching journey that led him to gradually put his ego aside. His experience with Ultima Vez was a chance to spend time with dancers who inspired him both as a dancer and a teacher. He explains how he helps his students grow by giving them challenges and a new vocabulary, while taking pleasure in exploring the unknown. For Luke Jessop, there is no end to dance.
