Un morceau de chocolat with Linda Rabin and Margie Gillis

They are inspiring, radiant and deeply in tune with each other! Margie Gillis looks back at her first class with Linda Rabin in 1975 in Vancouver, and at the choreographic project The White Goddess, initiated by Linda in 1976. These two experiences would profoundly shape the trajectory of Margie Gillis, at a time when she was asking herself: What world do I belong to? Who is my family? She would come to discover that she belongs to Linda’s world, a world of vulnerability, organicity, and deep connections with the universe.

For Margie, Linda was the one who truly saw her, the one who lovingly believed in her at the very beginning of her career, an absolutely crucial moment for any artist. That gaze continues to accompany and inspire Margie, as evidenced by her sensitive return on the experience lived during the Thread/Bare. project.

A riveting encounter, full of love and laughter.
