Danser Joe at Corps rebelles / Rebel Bodies

 Joe, the flagship choreographic work by Jean-Pierre Perreault will be featured as an integral part  of Corps rebelles / Rebel bodies, a major international exhibition at the Musée de la civilisation.  Visitors will be invited to discover contemporary dance by literally entering into an immersive  dance studio created by Moment Factory. In this unique interactive environment, visitors will  experience the universe of the choreographer and the work. Our thanks to Moment Factory and  to the Museum for having conceived this project, and a very special thank you to Ginelle  Chagnon, who played a key role in its production.The Fondation has also contributed to the Memory section of this exhibition where the choreographic ‘tool kit’ providing comprehensive documentation on Paul-André Fortier’s Bras de plomb will be displayed, along with original notation workbooks and artifacts from the Jean-Pierre Perreault archival materials now held at the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec.
