Erin Flynn

The first episode of the Territoires partagés podcast is an audio interview with Linda Rabin by Erin Flynn that traces the journey of this dancer, choreographer, and teacher who has been making her mark on the dance landscape in Montréal for almost 40 years. Linda Rabin looks at integrating somatic awareness in technical teaching, seeking to define holistic training that would help dancers connect with their being and tie technical teaching to the creative process. Drawing heavily on the Alexander Technique, she talks about her evolution as a professor and Continuum – a practice she teaches that connects us with who we are, allowing us to be transformed by everything that surrounds us and ties us to the world: beings, space, energy.
