Interview with Evangelos Poulinas about his career and approach to teaching contemporary dance in an international context.

Evangelos Poulinas talks about his beginnings as a dancer at age 21 when he had his sights set on sport. Originally from Greece and based in Berlin, the artist who wanted to give up dance finally came back to it after a performance by choreographer Konstantinos Rigos that rekindled his desire to dance. Developing early on a critical perspective on teaching, he values pressure-free teaching – although his classes are demanding – along with building solidarity among peers.
