At the crossroads of memories that make us

Place
Fort de l’Île Ste-Hélène
Director
Mathi(lde) Loslier-Pellerin

From November 8 to 11, 2023, Lucy Fandel, Charo Foo Tai Wei and Heather Mah, three dancers who participated in the workshop Ancestral Memories in Dancing Bodies followed up on it by sharing their own approach, inspired by an exploration of their memories and creative process.

At the crossroads of the memories we make is a beautiful video, sensitive and thoughtful, produced by Mathi(lde) Loslier-Pellerin on the final day of the residency, gives us a look at the inner world of the three dancers. We gently encounter each dancer’s approach as they share the ancestral memories that shape them.
