Under the honorary presidency of the prominent artist Françoise Sullivan and dancer and teacher Marc Boivin, Espace Perreault Choreographic Transmissions in partnership with gallerist Éric Devlin is delighted to invite you to an exhibition and sale of visual works by Jean-Pierre Perreault and photos of shows, on April 15 at 5 p.m. at the UQAM Dance Department’s Laboratoire.
A unique opportunity!
Join us for an immersive evening with our honorary presidents, and dive into the creative world of Jean-Pierre Perreault during this exclusive exhibition and sale, for one night only.
The evening will feature a selection of visual works signed by Perreault, as well as captivating photos by Robert Etcheverry, Michael Slobodian and Philip Trager.
It will be a celebration of the arts in which each piece tells a story that offers a unique perspective on art.
THE EVENING’S ACTIVITIES
Françoise Sullivan and Marc Boivin will talk about Jean-Pierre Perreault’s presence in their lives.
Michèle Febvre will present the choreographer’s creative process.
Marie Claire Forté will say a few words about her book with Peter Boneham, who, along with Jean-Pierre Perreault, was the co-director of Groupe de la Place Royale for ten years.
Works sold in a silent auction
The initial asking price for pieces by Jean-Pierre Perreault will be half their value as evaluated by Galerie Roger Bellemare. Photographs and watercolours starting at $200.

- A collection of essays (which currently can’t be found) about dance by Michèle Febvre
- Today and Today and Today Peter Boneham’s Dance Teaching Practice, by Peter Boneham, Marie Claire Forté and guests
- Recording the days of reflection on decolonization in dance scheduled for April 2026

A $20 ticket gives you access to the exhibition and the chance to meet our honorary presidents Françoise Sullivan and Marc Boivin, and dance artists Michèle Febvre and Marie Claire Forté.
Your contribution will help cover the costs of the evening, including the purchase of refreshments, studio and equipment rental, and transporting the works.
