Once again, the workshop Danser Joe dans la ville, created by Ginelle Chagnon and led this year by Sara Hanley and Catherine Tardif, offered participants a unique, moving and inspiring dance experience. A big thank you to Sara and Catherine, and to all who took on the role of Joe for the day! Some one hundred enthusiastic spectators came to watch the post-workshop performance and the film Joe by Bernard Picard (1994), compliments of Radio-Canada.
Last but not least, we’d like to thank the Maison de la culture Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, especially cultural agent Claude Morissette and cultural events assistant and cultural committee coordinator Stéphanie Bernard.
