Crazy Smooth (Yvon Soglo) is one of Canada’s leading street dancers, choreographers, and community leaders. He is the founder and artistic director of Bboyizm, an award-winning company dedicated to the preservation and proliferation of street dance in Canada and internationally. In 2020, he received the Clifford E. Lee Award from the Banff Centre for the Arts. Three of his full-length works have toured across Canada, and Bboyizm has received numerous distinctions, including a Dora Award nomination and the Ontario Presenters Network Emerging Touring Artist of the Year in 2012. Crazy Smooth continues to be an ambassador of street dance culture worldwide.
