Mara Dupas
Multidisciplinary artist
Mara Dupas is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between writing, dance, choreographic creation and movement dramaturgy in the territory of Tio’tia:ke / Mooniyang (Montréal). Through an intimate, critical and sensory approach, they explore the connections between body, memory and narrative. Their work has been presented by Tangente Danse, at MAI – Montréal, arts interculturels, during the Phénoména festival and OFFTA. Their creations are rooted in Afro-descendant and queer lived experiences, drawing inspiration from archives and popular culture.
