Ingrid Vallus

Dance artist, multitasking cultural worker

Ingrid Vallus studied cinema and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has created three solos: Nos ombres (2015), Féral (2017) and Le reste des vagues (2020). She also performs in the dance film À bras-le-corps by Chélanie Beaudin-Quintin (2023) and in Les Veilleuses, a work blending dance and music presented in September 2025 at Salle Bourgie.

Alongside her artistic practice, she has worked as a cultural worker for over 20 years, developing expertise in project management, production, communications, presenting, artist support, cultural mediation and audience development.

She currently collaborates with the Regroupement des aveugles et amblyopes du Montréal métropolitain and the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal on museum accessibility projects for blind and visually impaired audiences. She also facilitates French-language integration workshops for newcomers at UQAM.
