Sovann Rochon-Prom Tep

Sovann Rochon-Prom Tep, also known as Promo, has been immersed in the hip hop scene since childhood. He joined the group Sweet Technique, with whom he has taken part in numerous breaking competitions and honed his craft over the years. He has accumulated more than thirty victories and is regularly invited to participate in competitions around the world, sometimes as a competitor and sometimes as a judge. Now a member of the choreographic structure Lorganisme, he creates stage works featuring artists from diverse artistic communities. His works have been presented, among others, by the Festival TransAmériques (FTA), Festival FURIES, La Chapelle, The Citadel, and Agora de la danse. In 2022, he received the Jacqueline-Lemieux Prize in recognition of his outstanding contribution to dance in Canada.
